Procurement Functional analyst Expert Service

Service description:

We are currently transitioning our SAP IT operating model to a product-oriented approach. In this context, we are looking for an SAP Procurement Functional Consultant who would like to support and develop our Group SAP Procurement product. A SCRUM/Agile approach is practiced in the products - the focus is on both the operation of current solutions and implementation of new procurement tools and solutions.

We have an S4HANA 2023 system with SRM on-premise, Ariba network, Sourcing and SAP Stock Room Management. We have the ambition to transition to a private cloud solution by 2027 and follow a fiori-first approach.

As an Expert SAP Procurement Consultant, you need to take care of the following tasks:

• Maintenance and care of the product "SAP Procurement" as part of the product team.
• Design, configure, and implement SAP solutions to streamline procurement, inventory, and warehouse operations.
• Advising the product team (Functional Analysts/Business analysts/Product Owner) on solutions for requirements.
• Aligning with stakeholders of different product teams and departments.
• Technical Documentation of the developed technologies.
• Independently manage new requirements, write functional specifications for the developers.
• Manage, and conduct the IT tests, and deliver to the product teams and customers.
• Monitors the health of the components by proactively looking at workflow logs, short dump logs, application logs, etc.
• Monitors and analyze technical market trends to ensure state of the art solutions.
• Ensuring second- and third-line support for the product procurement.
• Conduct customer workshops together with product owners and business analysts.
• Ensure that the technical solution fits to the P2P process and align with corresponding products on technical interfaces and dependencies (eg Finance, Controlling).

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with the SAP Procurement module, the standard functionality, and the extension possibilities. Including Supplier Management, Sourcing and Contract Management, Operational Procurement, Warehouse Management/(SAP WM (stock room management) and SAP MM/)/SAP workflow.
• In-depth knowledge and skill to customize the related procurement objects according to requirements.
• Experience with working in a Fiori First context.
• Experience with S4HANA is a must.
• Knowledge of integration points between SAP modules.
• Provide clear context, guidance, and support towards the developers.
• Capable to form the bridge between the business analysts and the developers.
• Experience within SAP SRM, SAP Ariba (Sourcing, Business Network) is a plus.
• Deep Technical SAP knowledge (ABAP, Fiori, ) is a plus. Minimum requirement is ability to debug.
• Strong understanding of procurement and warehouse management processes.
• SAP certification in MM, Ariba, or WM is a plus.

• Work regime: full time.
• Location: the team is working from the Sablon site in Brussels. 2 days per week on-site in Brussels, 3 days remote possible.
