Interim Marketing Director
Our client, a scale up digital marketplace platform business with B2B/B2B2C clients requires a highly experienced commercial, innovative and high performing Marketing Director to drive forward their team (approx. 10 people) and implement new marketing & strategies initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
The role requires the following:
- Extensive go to market/marketing experience within fast paced B2B/B2B2C marketplace platforms.
- Thorough understanding of customer needs and anticipate their behaviour based on data (market & customer research, sales, and customer care feedback.
- Implement new/best ways to adapt & differentiate the company's products.
- Being accountable for driving and measuring impact of inbound & outbound lead generation in marketing campaigns and brand marketing across all social media.
- Strong data analytic skills and tools.
- Ability to define and deliver marketing propositions and solutions.
- Experience of performance marketing products, campaigns, and tools.
- In depth knowledge of user acquisition to gain new users on apps, platforms, and other services.
- Improve efficiency of marketing organization through automation/AI/simplification.
- Drive the brand recognition of the company.
- Extensive knowledge of event/billboards and OoH knowledge.
- Determine and track KPIs for marketing contribution and manages marketing budget, circa £5-6m.
- Lead, drive and innovate an efficient marketing team and empower staff through effective and open communication.
Experience required:
- 10+ years' experience in Marketing within leading B2B/B2B2C marketplace companies.
- Extensive marketing team leadership and management experience.
- Inspirational, proactive, can do and innovative leadership style.
- Expertise in digital business B2B2C business
- Experience of building strong digital and OoH marketing GTM strategies (offer, pricing, proposition and Segmentation.)
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills to be applied to market/competitor/customer.
- Knowledge of digital, email and SEO tools (social media (Google, Tiktok, Instagram, Facebook etc), marketing orchestration, market analysis and automation data analysis tools.
