Are you a highly skilled Project Planner with expertise in Primavera P6? Do you have experience in large-scale telecommunications, infrastructure, or transport projects? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! Our client is delivering cutting-edge 4G and 5G services as part of a major infrastructure project. They are looking for a Primavera P6 Planner to support project controls, reporting, and planning across multiple workstreams, ensuring successful project execution within agreed timeframes and budgets.

Role Overview

  • Developing and maintaining detailed project schedules to track progress and milestones.
  • Ensuring resource planning and dependency management to mitigate risks and keep projects on track.
  • Providing weekly reporting on progress, risks, and variance analysis for senior stakeholders.
  • Supporting baseline plan development, ensuring logical sequencing and change control.
  • Coordinating with stakeholders and delivery teams to maintain a realistic and achievable schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  • Planning & Scheduling: Use Primavera P6 to create and manage project schedules, ensuring accurate forecasting and sequencing of tasks.
  • Risk & Dependency Management: Identify risks, coordinate mitigation strategies, and align with different planning functions.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with project teams, clients, and external partners to ensure alignment.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Deliver structured reports, including variance analysis and recommendations to senior management.
  • Baseline & Change Control: Maintain and update project plans, ensuring changes are managed effectively.

What We're Looking For

  • Advanced Primavera P6 user with proven experience in project planning.
  • Strong understanding of S-Curve analysis, CPI reporting, and variance tracking.
  • Background in telecommunications, transport, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Excellent ability to communicate complex project data to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to project planning.
