Our client is seeking an experienced Test Manager to oversee the testing and validation of an internal software system. The successful candidate will ensure the quality of software rollouts and collaborate closely with stakeholders, development teams, and business users. This role requires a combination of strong technical skills, leadership, and communication abilities.

Manage and oversee all testing and validation activities across the software development life cycle (SDLC).
Develop, maintain, and execute robust test plans, scripts, and data aligned with project goals.
Conduct performance, stress, and volume testing to meet non-functional requirements.
Collaborate with development teams, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Plan and schedule test case execution, resource allocation, and release management.
Monitor testing progress, report anomalies, and ensure issues are resolved promptly.
Engage with third-party vendors to coordinate software testing efforts.
Manage defect resolution processes, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
Provide guidance and best practices in software quality assurance and testing methodologies.
Produce regular status reports and documentation on test activities.

Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in software testing roles.
Proven experience in test planning, execution, and management within complex software environments.
Strong experience with test management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.
Experience working with APIs, Postman/SoapUI for functional and integration testing.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
Full driving license required with the ability to travel occasionally.

Experience working in a government or regulatory environment.
Knowledge of automated testing frameworks.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with cloud-based testing environments.
