Digital Services Manager - Staffordshire - Hybrid
I am currently on the hunt for a forward-thinking Digital Services Manager to shape and oversee the digital strategy - you will play a pivotal role in establishing the support model and processes needed to meet operational demand into a clear digital roadmap. From managing day-to-day vendor relationships to orchestrating new strategic initiatives, you'll ensure alignment between internal teams, external partners, and the organisation's vision for digital growth.
In this position, you'll coordinate resources to deliver digital programmes and build up my clients in-house expertise, whether solutions are on-premises or in the Cloud. You will also be responsible for launching several new digital projects, including digital architecture, and ensuring these initiatives closely match the needs identified by senior stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Head of IT Services and senior stakeholders to create and maintain the digital delivery plan, ensuring alignment with wider organisational objectives.
- Lead digital initiatives from inception to completion, overseeing associated budgets and monitoring project milestones to ensure they remain on target.
- Identify when security measures or data governance processes need to be engaged, collaborating with relevant teams to address potential risks or vulnerabilities.
- Track and communicate progress on ongoing projects and digital services, keeping the wider business informed of performance and outcomes.
- Manage external partners to deliver high-quality, reliable services, acting as the key point of contact and ensuring alignment with company standards.
- Work with various managers to capture requirements for digital platforms across current IT setups, incorporating best practice from multiple teams.
- Plan, manage, and execute the introduction of innovative technologies and solutions, coordinating testing and release activities with external vendors.
- Support team growth by up-skilling and motivating staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and knowledge-sharing.
- Ensure that external service providers remain an integral part of both support functions and longer-term delivery goals.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Experienced in guiding multiple teams and influencing senior stakeholders within a complex, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with individuals across different disciplines and levels.
- Comprehensive experience with digital platforms and business applications, coupled with a solid grasp of how these services are delivered.
- Familiar with confidentiality, policies, and procedures relevant to digital infrastructure.
- Experience working for a Football association.
