Lorien are currently working with a Cyber Security Services business as they expand their current operations with a new office in Manchester. They have recently restructured their sales function to benefit both clients and the wider business. This enabled the business to split the sales function into New Business, Account Management and Channel.

I am currently supporting them with the first hire with a Head of New Business Development that will drive performance across a team of Business Development Managers to exceed the 'New business goals' of the company. Reporting into the Sales Director, this team will be defined by 'Never traded with the business before'. Therefore, as part of this role you must plan, drive and refine the New Business Strategy to drive demand and healthy conversation rate. You will lead a repeatable New Business Engine with the right people and methodology that will lead the organisation to phenomenal results. As part of this, you will be able to spot appropriate talent in the market, in the form of self starters with a growth mindset.

Experience:

  • Understanding and experience of driving new business growth either as a individual contributor or sales leader
  • Experience of running a team in a people management capacity as a Lead or coaching/mentoring capacity
  • Experience of working with tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo and/or Vimeo
  • Proven experience/capability of building a comprehensive, data based ramp-up plan backed by you methodology will improve funnel, conversion, revenue and gross profit.
  • Experience in selling IT services, ideally Cyber Security background selling Pen Testing or Cyber Essentials.

This role will be based on a hybrid model based out of their offices within Manchester City Centre.

The salary will be around £75k with additional benefits and a generous commission scheme.
