Contract : IT Data Center Engineer
Location: Woking, Surrey
Duration: Initial 3 months, with potential to go permanent
Start Date: February 2025
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, standard working hours (onsite, 5 days per week)
Pay: £4,000 a month fixed (Deemed Inside IR35)

About the Role:
We are seeking a Data Center Engineer with hands-on experience in server hardware and rack stacking. This role is ideal for an engineer with a strong background in data center operations and a practical understanding of hardware infrastructure. As a DC Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and supporting critical data center functions for our esteemed client.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform server hardware installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Manage rack and stack operations with precision and efficiency.
  • Ensure smooth operation and physical upkeep of data center equipment.
  • Collaborate with onsite teams to support data center requirements.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience in data center environments, particularly in server hardware and rack stacking.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work onsite five days a week, adhering to standard hours.
