Salary £65,000- £75,000 + £6650 on call bonus

I am looking for an EUC Specialist to join my client, who are a leading London Market insurer. This role will be responsible for planning, designing, developing, and the launch of efficient operation of all End User Computing systems to support core organisational functions; this includes all Projects, Continual Service Improvement, and BAU activities.
Technical requirements-
The following technical requirements are essential for this role:
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Technologies including Windows Server, Active Directory and ideally Exchange and/or SQL Server
- Excellent technical skills and knowledge in EUC (Win10, VDI on prem/cloud, profile management, user experience monitoring, endpoint management and security, all M365 technologies)
- Excellent administration, configuration problem solving and analytical troubleshooting ability in EUC technologies including Citrix, Citrix virtual apps, device image creation (SCCM, InTune, Citrix App Layering, Packer) VMware, Citrix NetScaler, Wyse/IGEL
- Excellent knowledge of cloud-based solutions (AWS, Azure, Citrix Cloud)
- Proven experience of backup/restore packages
Role responsibilities-
- Assist in the strategic design and implementation of the End User Computing infrastructure to ensure its high availability as well as own and manage service improvement plans
- Provide 3rd line IT support and act upon and resolve incidents escalated to the team in a timely manner
- Assist in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new services and enhancements to existing services within End User Computing
- Ownership of systems used for monitoring, backups, disaster recovery and security patching for End User Computing infrastructure
- Ensure compatibility and interoperability on computing systems
- Review and analyse the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving implementation decisions
- Conduct research on hardware and software products to justify recommendations and to support purchasing efforts and service improvement activity
