Hours: 37 hours per week (Rota across 7 days)
Contract: 3-6 months, starting ASAP
About the Role
We’re seeking a compassionate and driven individual to provide solution-focused support for customers with moderate to high support needs. You’ll manage a small caseload (5-8 clients) to ensure you have the time and capacity to deliver quality, tailored assistance.
You’ll collaborate with a larger team in Torquay to:
Support individuals with complex needs.
Work with external agencies on mental health, substance misuse, benefits, housing, and employment opportunities.
Develop and maintain support plans and risk assessments.
Empower clients to achieve their goals and build skills for independent living.
This role requires resilience and problem-solving, as you’ll be working with clients facing challenging situations. Your efforts will help them overcome barriers and thrive.

We’re looking for individuals who are:
Motivated to create positive change.
Flexible and willing to work varied hours, including weekends.
Skilled at building relationships with clients, colleagues, and external partners.
Experienced (or enthusiastic to learn) in supporting people from diverse backgrounds with a range of needs.
Essential Skills & Experience:
Ability to lone work safely and collaborate effectively in a team.
Competence in maintaining records, creating action plans, and managing risks.
Clear understanding of diversity and safeguarding in vulnerable populations.
Strong literacy, numeracy, and communication skills.
Desirable (but not essential):
Knowledge of housing-related support, training, employment, or social activities.
NVQ Level 3 in a relevant field.
