Azure Sentinel Consultant - 3 Month - Inside IR35 - Hybrid

Hamilton Barnes is currently recruiting for a experienced Azure Sentinel Consultant for an exciting initial 3-month contract, with the potential for extension. This role is pivotal in shaping and enhancing the organisation's Detect and Respond program, leveraging Microsoft Sentinel as the core SIEM solution.

The position offers hybrid working and a competitive daily rate working inside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in Architecture and delivery of SIEM solution tailored to meet IT and OT security requirements, securing approvals from design review boards.
• Ensure the solution adheres to NIS-R regulations and aligns with customer-specific security standards.
• Manage the seamless integration of security tools such as Microsoft Sentinel and DKIM for email security into the organization's IT and OT systems.
• Create and implement comprehensive security incident response playbooks to enhance incident management across IT and OT environments.
• Provide expert advice on security monitoring, log management, and incident response best practices to strengthen the organization's overall security posture.

What you will Ideally Bring:

• In-depth knowledge of security monitoring techniques, including the use of Microsoft Sentinel and related tools to detect and respond to threats effectively.
• Proficient in managing and analysing logs from diverse IT and OT systems to identify potential security issues.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute robust incident response strategies, ensuring swift and effective handling of security incidents.
• Strong understanding of compliance frameworks, including NIS-R, and their application in designing security solutions.
• Experience integrating advanced security technologies into existing IT and OT infrastructures to enhance security operations.
• Ability to provide clear, actionable advice on best practices, improving the organization's overall security posture and resilience.

Contract Details:

• Duration: 3 months
• Location: 3 Days Per Week Onsite (Coventry)
• Daily Rate: Up to £600 Per Day (Inside IR35)
