Performance System Engineer

Location - Peterborough

Salary - £market rate

Work Mode - Hybrid

Role - Contract (12 Months)

Performance Systems Integration Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Performance Systems Integration (PSI) Engineer to join our team, responsible for the complete performance system life cycle-from requirements and system architecture to technical problem-solving and product integration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define system architecture, calibration, and control system requirements
  • Develop and optimize control systems using simulation and analytical tools
  • Solve technical issues and ensure product quality and emissions compliance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate products into customer applications

What You'll Need:

  • Experience in Engine/Powertrain development: calibration, control systems, and simulation tools (eg, GT Power, Matlab/Simulink)
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach (5 Whys, Ishikawa)
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate across teams and deliver clear reports and presentations
