Executive Assistant - 3-month Temp - £19.08 per hour - London Hybrid
Intergovernmental body is seeking an experienced Executive to provide support to their General Secretary’s Office at their central London headquarters.
This is a temporary position to start ASAP for an initial 3-month period and will pay £19.08 per hour PAYE.
The role is hybrid and will involve working at their central London offices 2-3 days per week.
The Executive Assistant will provide administrative and secretarial support to the Office of the Secretary-General. They will assist in managing and maintaining the Secretary-General’s diary; interfacing with a wide range of internal and external clients at all levels including communicating on the Secretary-General’s behalf; preparing internal and external correspondence and where required, organising the Secretary-General’s official travel and official and social representation events.
The ideal Executive Assistant will have the following knowledge, skills and experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in international development, law, social sciences, public administration, project management or other relevant field.
Previous administrative experience supporting at senior level
Ability to organise, anticipate, plan and prioritise workload in a fast paced high presume environment
Delivering in a fast paced, constantly changing environment
Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
Attention to detail and an ability to use own initiative
Good proof-reading abilities / skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
High level of computer literacy is essential, including MS Office Suite - Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Experience working with Government, civil society, international organizations
Experience of working in a multicultural environment;
