Java Backend Developer

Responsibilities

As a Java Developer, you will:

• You will Analyze and improve parts of the customer journey, like deal structures, product billing, and invoice management, to make them simple and effective.

• You will Build, test, and maintain Back End systems that are fast, secure, and easy to scale.

• You will Work closely with your team to understand business needs and turn them into technical solutions.

• You will Ensure system performance and availability by monitoring and addressing potential issues proactively.

• You will Optimize code and systems for efficiency, reducing technical debt where possible and Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies, suggesting improvements to current processes and systems.

• You will Participate in code reviews to ensure best practices and maintain high-quality standards and assist in deployment and integration activities, ensuring smooth releases and updates.

Required Skills

• You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant experience. And You have proficiency in English and additional languages are a plus ( Dutch and/OR French)

• You have expertise in Java development, with a strong focus on using Spring Boot.

• You have experience with tools and technologies like Kafka, Elastic, Apache Ignite, MERAK, or CDAAS pipeline.

• You have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to create effective technical solutions for business challenges.

• You have hands-on experience in building and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance systems.

• You have a solid understanding of Agile methodologies and the ability to contribute actively to Agile team processes.

• You have excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive and collaborative mindset.
