We are seeking an IT Engineer to support the modernisation of our Core Clearing system, MICS (Management Information Control System). You will be joining a small team in Amsterdam working on maintaining and enhancing the MICS system as we transition from the Legacy setup to a modernised version using IBM Power Series, RPG IV (Free Format), and REST APIs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and develop the current MICS system with a focus on transitioning to modern technologies.
• Work primarily with IBM Power Series, RPG IV (Free Format), and REST APIs to modernise the system architecture.
• Collaborate with the team to implement new features and enhance system performance.
• Contribute to the successful modernisation of the MICS system, leveraging your expertise in IBM technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Several years experience with IBM Power Series and RPG IV (Free Format).
• Proficient in RPG, CL, and SQL.
• Strong experience with REST APIs and their integration into IBM systems.
• Experience with CI/CD processes on IBM Power Series.
• Knowledge of CA-2E, TD/OMS, and Icebreak is a plus.
• Fluency in English with excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of financial markets is advantageous.
