Global IT Services Firm is hiring for a permanent WAN Network Architect for their team based in Bracknell. They operate a hybrid basis, with at least 3 days in the office. This role requires SC Clearance, so you would need to either hold active SC clearance or be eligible for SC Clearance. Salary ranges between £65K - £70K + Car Allowance + Bonus.

Responsibilities include:

- Provide technical leadership within a project and responsible for the network design and configuration documentation, including passing through any governance reviews, and will provide hands on technical configuration/implementation support.
- Design experience in proposing and utilizing technologies from global network vendors such as Cisco and Juniper, including production of summary architecture documents, high level and low-level design documentation.
- Strong technical networking knowledge coupled with Network Certifications - Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Juniper JNCIS-ENT
- WAN routing (MPLS, BGP, ISIS, Juniper, JUNOS operating system).
- Understanding of encryption overlays such as IPSec, GRE and hardware encryption would be beneficial.
