Sales Specialist - Fall Protection

Location - South and Midlands

Salary - £50K-£55K total planned income

Your responsibilities in the role

• Achieving sales and margin targets quarterly, under an annual sales plan.
• Identifying and winning opportunities as required under sales plan.
• Work with end customers to advise and promote company Fall Protection Solutions.
• Manage the sales pipeline with the Distributor network through effective relationships and strong communication
• Develop company brand loyalty across end customers and Distributors
• Ensure accurate communication of product updates and development
• Collaborate with company technical teams to ensure a high level of on-site support where
• required.
• Identify and share leads with company colleagues for products/solutions outside core specialism.
• Develop and maintain market, industry and product knowledge.
• Collect and disseminate (internally) market trends and competitor activity.
• Maintain accurate and up to date data within a CRM system and other appropriate systems.
• Ensure all administration/planning is accurate and completed on time and in full.

Skills and Experience

• Strong knowledge of the Fall Protection market is essential
• Ability to communicate at all levels of the organisation both externally and internally
• A self-starter with the ability to work on your own and as part of a team
• Strong negotiation skills
• Numerate and proficient with analysis and manipulation of data.
• Proficient in use of IT tools, Excel, Word, Powerpoint.
• Strong communication and presentation skills - written and verbal.
• Competitive & Proactive instinct - takes initiative on issues and challenges to find optimum solutions.
• Tenacious, and resilient - ability to navigate through conflict and challenges towards positive outcome, retaining focus and perspective.
