Role: Senior Platform Engineer

Location: Fully remote (they will be looking to open an office in the future)

Salary: £85k - £115k depending on experience + Equity (that vests after a year) + benefits

Our AI driven InsurTech client are building out a brand-new engineering team on a permanent basis and they're looking for their Founding Platform Engineer.

Company overview: Our client are redefining the Insurance space through the use of AI. The specific space they operate in is ripe for disruption and was founded by an industry leading Chief Claims Officer and backed by an excellent investment team/advisory board. They have recently received over 3 million in initial funding.

The role: You'll be instrumental in designing, implementing and maintaining the cloud infrastructure for their AI-powered processing platform and create a robust, scalable environment that integrates cutting-edge AI technologies. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on something truly greenfield where you can build and optimise cloud infrastructure from the ground up.

Experience:

• Worked in similar Platform/SRE roles
• Strong GCP experience
• Proficiency in IaC tools, namely Terraform
• Containerisation and orchestration experience (eg Docker)
• CI/CD pipelines and automation tools knowledge
• Comfortable working in a rapidly moving and ambiguous environment
• Passion for staying current with the latest technologies and best practices

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of AI concepts
• Worked in Python and Node.js environments
