Senior Procurement Manager - Tech
Remote based
6 month Contract Inside IR35 (potential for extension)

Our client is looking to hire a Senior Procurement Management Specialist who has experience revisiting and renegotiating clauses in existing contracts. The amendments required will be in relation to AI so any experience in this area is a plus.

You will be dealing with Tier 1 & 2 Suppliers, and there are 30+ contracts to review.

Experience and Skills required:

• 5+ years of operational Procurement experience in Technology Procurement
• Excellent functional expertise and knowledge of the Technology space
• In-depth understanding of external environment and supplier relationship models
• Strong knowledge of Procurement tools such as sourcing, contract negotiation, supplier review, supplier development and others
• Demonstrated expertise in managing categories, particularly category strategy development and implementation, stakeholder management and supplier relationship management.
• Knowledge of finance (cost benchmark, financial audit with key suppliers) and legal matters (contracting)
• Knowledge of contracts, templates and risks from Artificial Intelligence.
• Clear understanding of business value, business priorities, and potential implementation risks
• Experience working in a Matrix (global/regional) business environment.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to work in partnership with others to drive, implement and support change.
• Strong analytical, written and verbal communications, and influencing skills.
• Self-starting and able to deliver and execute autonomously.
• Ability to work in high pressure environment, often under tight deadlines.
