Network Project Engineer - 6 Month Contract - Outside IR35

Our client, a small managed service provider, is looking for a Network Project engineer from an IP background to join on an initial 6 Month Contract - Outside IR35!

You'll be working on critical network projects with a focus on replacing core and aggregation networks and handling large-scale L3 subnetting.

Key Details:

Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months - Scope for extension
Location: Fully Remote
Determination: Outside IR35

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement, and manage network changes, including access switch migrations, core replacements, and aggregation updates.
• Perform routing and switching tasks with Cisco Access & Distribution technologies.
• Handle subnetting for thousands of devices, ensuring seamless network operations.
• Execute and support network adds and changes, maintaining operational integrity.
• Collaborate with teams to deliver projects on time and within scope.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience in Routing & Switching, Cisco Access & Distribution, and large-scale L3 subnetting.
• Cisco R&S - ISR, ASR, Nexus & Catalyst
• Strong knowledge of network implementation and aggregation network replacements.
• Cisco certifications (CCNA/CCNP)
• Proficient in diagnosing and resolving complex network issues.
• Protocols: OSFP/SR/MPLS/BGP/EVPN/L3 & L2VPNS/Multicast
