This might be the role for you:
- Title: Freelance Senior Digital Designer
- Start: Monday 20th January
- Length: 6 weeks (great chance of 3 month extension)
- Client: Global Digital Agency
- Day rate: £325 a day (maximum)
- Location: Central East London
- IR35: Inside IR35 (The client has specified only Umbrella to invoice for this role, not your Limited Company)
- Work set-up: Working 5 days a week = Hybrid (to be in-house every Tuesday, Wednesday + Thursday) and the other 2 days remote - Please note this cannot be changed.
Brief:
- Conceptual Front End Designer (no coding).- They are reinventing the graphical language from scratch.
- The client is doing a ground-up redesign of a global brand.
- Shape the negative + positive space, composition, type etc.
- Without rules, inventing the design system, inventing the language.
- Someone who is a brilliant typographer and an excellent designer.
- Conceptual Front End designers, first and foremost design craftsmen.
- You will be working with a junior prototyper and you will work as a pair.
- Taking the client tool kit and inventing a digital distillation of this brand.
- To design a set of design components, create templates, and component origination.
- Not following someone else's design, they need people to work with the Design Director.
- Understanding layout, the elegance of playing with type + print experience. eg Where can it go? How far can they take it?
- This role doesn't contain brand guidelines, they need someone who is comfortable and who is good at inventing work that looks beautiful when given a creative brief and creating the brand guidelines.
