Job Title: Head Of Compliance (Asset Management)
Location: Amsterdam (on-site x3 a week)
Salary/Rate: Up to €900-€1000 per day
Start Date: 27/01/25
Job Type: 3 month rolling contract

Company Introduction
We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading consultancy clients! They are currently looking for a Head of Compliance to join their team for an initial 3 month contract with scope to become permanent.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives
You will be responsible for leading the compliance oversight function for the Netherlands office (policies, regular training of staff organisation, compliance programme).

1. Provide timely, solutions driven regulatory advice and challenge to the Investments activities
2. Provide advice on approve or provide regulatory input into marketing material
3. Liaison with the relevant regulators
4. Provide compliance support to EMEA offices
5. Periodic review of the EMEA Regulatory Change Framework
6. Regulatory change implementation
7. Liaise with teams to advise on regulatory issues and support the wider business

Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:

1. Fluent in Dutch & English (written and spoken)
2. Good understanding of MiFID regulations
3. Ability to communicate effectively with both business colleagues, the GCO and collaborate effectively across business areas and jurisdictions and establish a relationship as a Trusted Adviser
4. Prior experience of working within the asset management industry
5. A good understanding of the regulators processes and procedures ideally as they impact an asset management firm (including AML and financial promotion)
6. An understanding of the upcoming regulatory change programme as it relates to the distribution activities of Asset Managers and their approach to the regulation of Asset Managers in Europe
7. An attitude focusing on the end customers and partners of the business
