Job Advert: Project Manager - Digital Initiatives

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of Digital Acceleration workstreams within the Network Development function. In this role, you will manage end-to-end project delivery, ensuring governance, stakeholder communication, and successful integration of training and change into the business. Reporting directly to the IMD Control Room Senior Manager, you will establish and oversee project governance, including steering committees, and manage all aspects of the project life cycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for Control Room T&I Projects.
• Gather requirements and create baseline requirement specifications.
• Build and manage relationships with project stakeholders, suppliers, and internal customers.
• Deliver key projects by developing and managing delivery plans.
• Facilitate weekly project reviews and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Manage Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies (RAIDs).
• Oversee supplier deliverables, ensuring targets are met on time.
• Ensure compliance with governance standards, including CyberDemand, UK Privacy, and Information Security guidelines.
• Engage with stakeholders across all levels of the business.
• Drive continuous process improvement initiatives and streamline project execution.

Core Competencies and Skills

• Proven project management experience, ideally in complex environments.
• Strong understanding of Agile and project delivery methodologies (eg, PRINCE2 or PMI BOK).
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strategic and tactical awareness to advance projects in alignment with business priorities.
• Ability to manage cross-functional teams and foster collaboration.
• Strong governance and risk management expertise.
• Passion for problem-solving and delivering impactful solutions.
• Understanding of mobile RAN systems (desirable, but not essential).

Qualifications

• PRINCE2 or PMI BOK certification (or equivalent).
• Strong track record of project delivery in a fast-paced environment.
