AWS Data Engineer X4

£50,000 - £60,000 per annum + permanent benefits

A leading IT Consultancy are looking to strengthen their Data Engineering team, the successful candidate will have hands-on design and engineering background in AWS, across a wide range of AWS services with the ability to demonstrate working on large engagements.

This role requires candidates to go through SC Clearance so you must be eligible

• Experience of AWS tools (eg Athena, Redshift, Glue, EMR)
• Java, Scala, Python, Spark, SQL
• Experience of developing enterprise grade ETL/ELT data pipelines.
• NoSQL Databases. Dynamo DB/Neo4j/Elastic, Google Cloud Datastore.
• Snowflake Data Warehouse/Platform
• Experience of working with CI/CD technologies, Git, Jenkins, Spinnaker, GCP Cloud Build,
• Ansible etc
• Experience building and deploying solutions to Cloud (AWS, Google Cloud) including Cloud provisioning tools (eg Terraform, AWS CloudFormation or Cloud Deployment Manager)
• Have a broad understanding of AWS services including but not limited to, EC2, Storage, AWS Security, Container technologies, IAM, Cloud Networking, data processing and machine learning.
