Role Overview:
We are seeking a Strategic Digital Supplier Manager/Lead to manage strategic relationships with technology vendors. This role involves overseeing outsourced technology service delivery, including contract management, and ensuring strong commercial understanding. You will handle high-value (multi-million) procurements to facilitate digital transformation, leveraging innovation to enhance accessibility, availability, security, resilience, and value for money.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage strategic relationships with technology vendors.
Oversee outsourced technology service delivery and contract management.
Handle high-value procurements to facilitate digital transformation.
Leverage innovation opportunities to enhance service delivery.
Maintain and mature commercial approaches for sustainable delivery partnerships.
Ensure efficient demand management and drive improved value for money from enterprise agreements.
Experience Required:
Complex Scoping and Demand Qualification: Conduct complex scoping and demand qualification exercises, advising on the optimal blend of services to deliver best value for money.
Enterprise-Level Digital Contracts: Extensive experience with enterprise-level digital contracts, including Microsoft Enterprise Subscription (ESA/SPA), Cisco Enterprise Agreement (EA), and Server Cloud Enrolment (SCE) agreements.
Contract Strategies and Supplier Relationships: Develop contract strategies and supplier relationships to deliver high-quality, efficient, and cost-effective services.
Commercial Challenges and Opportunities: Lead investigative work into commercial challenges and opportunities, creating recommendations and driving improvements to enhance commercial outcomes.
Stakeholder Management: Strong stakeholder management skills to translate business requirements and user needs into effective actions and practical solutions.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to engage with others clearly, honestly, and enthusiastically. Ability to explain complex issues persuasively and deliver difficult messages with clarity and sensitivity.
