Job Description:
Title: Data Security Architect
Location: Brussels, Belgium
Duration: 12 months freelance contract
Work Mode: Hybrid
Languages: English and (French or Dutch)

Summary

• As a Data Security Architect, you will design and maintain secure infrastructures within classified systems, integrating state-of-the-art security technologies while ensuring compliance with EU requirements.
• Your expertise in Active Directory, cryptography, VPNs, Firewalls, and backup solutions will be critical in mitigating risks and safeguarding data integrity across classified environments.

Experience

• At least five years of experience in IT security with a focus on architecture and design, supported by demonstrable projects.

Requirements

• Possession of or eligibility to obtain EU Secret accreditation (Secret UE/EU Secret).
• High ethical standards, with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially and discreetly.
• Up-to-date knowledge of the latest threats and trends in cybersecurity.
• Proficiency in Dutch or French (native) and active knowledge of English.

Technical Skills

• Design and secure Microsoft Active Directory, including user management, group policies, and authentication protocols.
• Advanced knowledge of Switches and network hardware configuration, optimization, and security.
• Solid understanding of Firewall technologies (vendor-independent).
• Expertise in designing, implementing, and managing VPN technologies to ensure secure and encrypted connections for external access and communication within classified networks.
