Leading organisation in the United Kingdom are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Scientist to lead and deliver impactful solutions across a healthcare project. You will work on diverse client projects, leveraging your technical expertise and leadership capabilities. You'll have the opportunity to work from Blackline locations or directly with clients on-site. Success in this role is measured by clear, outcome-oriented KPIs focused on value delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Frame and research complex Source-to-Pay (Procurement) challenges.
- Extract, cleanse, and standardize large data sets from multiple internal and external sources.
- Develop repeatable methodologies for data preparation and alignment.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify objectives and requirements.
- Analyse data to uncover trends, weaknesses, and opportunities.
- Apply advanced analytics, machine learning, and statistical methods to solve problems.
- Design innovative algorithms and tools to streamline processes and automate tasks.
- Present insights through clear, impactful visualizations and reports.
- Provide actionable recommendations to improve strategies and reduce costs.
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience: Minimum 7+ years in relevant roles.
Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in data warehousing, Business Intelligence platforms, and SQL databases.
- Hands-on experience with data mining, cleansing, visualization, and reporting.
- Familiarity with database design and querying languages.
Leadership & Communication:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex topics to senior executives.
- A leadership mindset focused on innovation, inclusivity, and collaboration.
Additional Skills (Preferred):
- Experience in management consulting or enterprise transformation.
- Background in Strategic Sourcing or procurement operations.
- Programming skills (eg, XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks).
