One of the largest Defence projects in the UK is looking to bring on board a qualified and experienced Quantity Surveyor for a long term contract role.
- Job Role - Quantity Surveyor
- Location - Glasgow (Hybrid)
- Contract length - 6 Months (up to 2 years extension)
- Pay Rate - Up To £40 hour
Qualifications & Responsibilities Required:
- Quantity Surveying (Post-Contract & Commercial Experience)
- NEC and Nuclear sectors knowledge and experience
- Provide a full range of Quantity Surveying duties from project inception through to completion.
- Prepare cost plans, estimates, bills of quantities, tender documents, and assess supply chain payments.
- Provide services during the construction phase including change management, contractor payment applications, and final accounts.
- Prepare data and reports according to required time scales for line management and clients.
- Collaborate with other service teams to deliver integrated client services.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
Key Skills:
- BSc in Quantity Surveying
- Experience in Nuclear projects
- Proficient in NEC contracts
- Knowledgeable about methods of measurement
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills across all levels
