One of the largest Defence projects in the UK is looking to bring on board a qualified and experienced Quantity Surveyor for a long term contract role.

  • Job Role - Quantity Surveyor
  • Location - Glasgow (Hybrid)
  • Contract length - 6 Months (up to 2 years extension)
  • Pay Rate - Up To £40 hour

Qualifications & Responsibilities Required:

  • Quantity Surveying (Post-Contract & Commercial Experience)
  • NEC and Nuclear sectors knowledge and experience
  • Provide a full range of Quantity Surveying duties from project inception through to completion.
  • Prepare cost plans, estimates, bills of quantities, tender documents, and assess supply chain payments.
  • Provide services during the construction phase including change management, contractor payment applications, and final accounts.
  • Prepare data and reports according to required time scales for line management and clients.
  • Collaborate with other service teams to deliver integrated client services.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.

Key Skills:

  • BSc in Quantity Surveying
  • Experience in Nuclear projects
  • Proficient in NEC contracts
  • Knowledgeable about methods of measurement
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong communication skills across all levels
