Application Development Team Lead - Hybrid - Manchester - £120k

My prestigious financial client, a leader in their field is currently seeking an experienced Development Team Lead to join their expanding team. The successful candidate will be focusing on the direction of the development, delivery of my client's python, React and Java applications.

Working closely with various teams and stakeholders you ensure that the performance and scalability of important analytical business systems. You will also be leading a dynamic team of engineers in the development of full stack applications aligning with the business roadmap.

Skills and experience required:

Strong commercial exposure and experience with Java, React and Python technologies

At least five years leadership experience, managing teams of developers

Proven experience of delivering large scale performance applications

Excellent knowledge and experience in event driven techniques and applying streaming

Strong commercial experience with Azure and microservices architecture

Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes

Commercial exposure to Kafka

Financial services background
