Junior IT Engineer, £160 per day inside IR35

Uttoxeter, Long Term Contract (2 month rolling increments)

Bench IT require a Junior IT Engineer to assist a global organisation starting ASAP working full time onsite in Uttoxeter. This role would be a great fit for an individual with 3-6 months IT support or deployment experience or a graduate candidate with relevant studies or internships. The successful candidate will provide first-line technical support and assist users with hardware and software issues as well as assist with installation of new equipment.

Responsibilities & Experience

• Respond to IT service desk tickets.
• Assist users via phone, email, or in-person.
• Set up and maintain computers and peripherals.
• Manage user accounts and passwords.
• Support software installations and updates.
• Ensure user satisfaction with timely issue resolution.
• Communicate technical information clearly.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Good communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent experience (desirable not essential)
• 3-6 months experience in IT support or relevant internship.
