Cloud Consulting have an urgent requirement for an experienced Networking/Security Architect to work on a high-profile project for a leading blue chip company.

The role will be fully remote and falls inside the scope of IR35.

The TA will be working alongside the Lead Architect in the Networking team on the project to define the implementation solution to align with the service requirements.

Please note, to be suitable, you must be an expert in AWS cloud native networking.

Deliverables:

- Consult on high-level architectural solution selection, and that it is implementable

- Work with Lead Architect to ensure that any external/integration details/finer architecture is defined

- Ensure the automated testing exercises and validate the correct functioning from a design perspective

- Consult in the event of sprint planning issues

- Ensure that the development implementation matches the design.

Tech Stack:

- AWS architecture

- Designing/implementing scalable, secure and robust network architectures in both traditional and cloud environments.

- You should have the ability to incorporate and adapt to any number of networking vendors to be able to make best use of cloud native technologies.

- You should have the ability to implement your designs through code, so should have in-depth of understanding of automation tools like Terraform, CloudFormation and bicep.

- Networking protocols - DNS, DHCP, IPAM and SDN. Experience using IDS/IPS on advanced Firewalls vendors such as Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco and Checkpoint.

- Understanding of AWS, Azure, GCP, SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, Containers, Infrastructure as Code

- Networking Protocols and Services: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/HTTPS, BGP, OSPF, etc.
