Finance and Accounting Director - Hybrid (2 days a week in London) - Circa £85k + benefits

The Finance and Accounting Manager will play a pivotal role in steering financial operations and crafting strategic, data-driven initiatives to support business growth. The successful candidate will manage day-to-day financial activities while providing insightful analysis and recommendations to leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Operations Management: Oversee all accounting and financial management activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance in invoicing, payments, and reporting in collaboration with external accounting teams.
  • Strategic Financial Planning: Develop and implement forward-thinking financial plans, budgets, and cash flow strategies to support long-term growth.
  • Analytical Leadership: Lead profitability and margin analysis to identify growth opportunities and improve revenue optimisation.
  • Management Reporting: Deliver clear and actionable financial reports and analyses to inform leadership decisions.
  • Cash Flow Management: Ensure stability through effective cash flow monitoring and resource allocation.
  • Accounts Receivable: Manage customer accounts, ensuring timely payment collection and strong financial health.
  • Advisor to Leadership: Collaborate with the Managing Director to provide insights and strategies that align with overall business objectives.

Skills/Experience required

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (CIMA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification preferred).
  • Experience as a Finance and Accounting manager within a fast-paced digital or agency environment.
  • Proactive problem-solver with a strategic mindset and the ability to identify growth opportunities.
  • Strong financial analysis and modelling skills, with experience influencing strategic decisions.
  • Ambitious and eager to take ownership of high-impact projects.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of presenting complex financial information to diverse stakeholders.
