Job Title: Management Accountant
Location: Telford (1/2 days per week in the office)
Salary/Rate: Up to £355 per day INSIDE IR35
Start Date: 20/01/2025
Job Type: Contract

Job Responsibilities/Objectives

1. Preparation of accurate monthly management accounts, invoicing, forecasting, budgeting and balance sheet reconciliations, whilst ensuring adherence to internal accounting policies and GAAP.
2. Production and interpretation of a detailed monthly reporting pack, presenting the financial position of the delivery unit at monthly reviews with the business unit leader.
3. Understanding business risk factors with a view to identifying potential risks and issues which affect business performance.
4. Production of ad-hoc reports and analysis to support and assist in decision making.
5. Close liaison with the Customer, Operations, Programme/Project Managers and Project Analysts, displaying confidence to support and challenge.
6. This role requires prior experience of working in management accountant role and advanced Excel skills would be advantageous.
