Position: Syndicate Reporting Accountant (Fixed Term - Maternity Cover)
Time Type: Full-Time
Working Pattern: Hybrid (50% on-site)

The Role
We are seeking a Syndicate Reporting Accountant to join our Finance Syndicate team on a fixed-term basis. This role involves preparing regulatory returns, financial statements, and contributing to process improvements, systems development, and team mentoring.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review Lloyd's regulatory and tax returns.
Oversee reporting timetables and sign-off processes.
Liaise with auditors and provide financial commentary for management.
Support projects including capital setting and reporting improvements.
Maintain and enhance procedures and control environments.

What We're Looking For

Qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) with Lloyd's insurance market experience.
Strong IT skills, particularly Excel; familiarity with Workday and Phinsys is a plus.
Excellent communication, analytical, and organisational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines.
