The Trumbull County Board of Developmental Disabilities has an immediate opening for a Cook Assistant in its school-age program. Responsibilities include assisting with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness of kitchen and cafeteria areas, and operating kitchen appliances and equipment in a cafeteria/kitchen environment. Ideal candidates should possess basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation as well as basic knowledge and ability to count money, utilize POS system, and use computer/nutrition software program. High School Diploma or GED required. Must pass BCII, FBI, and abuser registry clearances. Must obtain and maintain Level I Certification in Food Protection, Serv Safe certification, and First Aide and CPR/AED certifications. $15.92 per hour. Paid training provided.
