Talent Acquisition Specialist/Coordinator

Redhill/Nutfield, Surrey (location is most easily reached by own transport)

£30,000 + Benefits package (Pension, Birthday & Christmas vouchers, holiday purchase scheme, 25 days holiday + all bank holidays, quarterly bonus)

Role in a nutshell: You will be working on the Toyota (GB) Head Office account recruiting for roles in many different departments, mainly permanent and fixed term positions.

A bit about: TLP Toyota Team - the team supports the Toyota (GB) Account. Your role will be within the recruitment element of the team but as a whole the team not only recruits for new positions but also supports all our on-site employees and all aspects of our relationship with Toyota.

A bit about TLP: The TLP group was established in 1989 with the founding Directors continuing to be involved in the business. There are three core areas of operation - recruitment, serviced offices and IT Support.

This vacancy sits in TLP Consultancy working in the Toyota team of 7 (you will be number 7).

What you'll be doing:

Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and resourceful individual to join our busy close-knit, friendly account team. The main purpose of the role is to support the team in identifying candidates for new vacancies with our client, Toyota. In addition to this you will be involved in numerous other tasks to facilitate the smooth operation of the account.

Ideally you may have some recruitment experience in a resourcing role along with strong admin skills, a keen eye for detail, a willingness to learn, a desire to deliver best in class service and be able to work within a collaborative team environment.

The role

You will be supporting the Account Director and Team Leader and working with the team you will be involved in the full recruitment life cycle. Your duties and responsibilities will include the following:

  • Taking briefs from the Toyota Managers (briefing calls conducted on Teams)
  • Writing adverts to post online to attract talent
  • Sourcing candidates from online job boards, LinkedIn, online databases, the CRM system as well as engaging with known sources in the market
  • Initial phone screening of candidates to gain a clearer understanding of their skills, history and career aspirations
  • CV/candidate selection CV formatting and submission, candidate feedback, arranging interviews and offers
  • Following up with candidate/client queries; database administration
  • Maintaining strong relationships with candidates and clients
  • Assist with the daily running of the account, including relationships with the hiring managers

Working in a collaborative team structure all roles are worked together with support from all team members to fill positions. The team also works together at all stages of the process to ensure a seamless experience for both candidates and the client.

You will also be involved in the weekly team meeting and opportunities to look at and improve internal processes within the recruitment team, regular 121's and annual reviews.

Essential skills

  • Administration experience
  • Working with MS Office
  • Inbound and outbound phone and email use
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Computer literate including Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Confident using the telephone and speaking to candidates
  • Numerate
  • Willingness to learn
  • Work in a collaborative manner
  • A 'not leaving a stone unturned' attitude

Highly Desirable

  • Previous Recruitment experience
  • Experience and knowledge of IT recruitment and an understanding of the technology and terminology
  • Experience in using HR portals
  • Willingness to progress within the company
