Job Title: Business Analyst
Location: Dublin (Remote) (Travel required for Onboarding)
Contract: Initial 6-Month Contract

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in Banking or Financial Services to join our client, a leading financial services organisation based in Dublin. This is a fully remote role, offering the opportunity to work on strategic projects that drive business impact. Mortgage experience is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements.
• Develop functional specifications and ensure alignment with business needs.
• Liaise with cross-functional teams, including IT and Operations, to support project delivery.
• Conduct gap analyses to identify areas for improvement in processes and systems.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) by defining test scenarios and validating outcomes.
• Ensure all deliverables comply with regulatory and compliance requirements.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within Banking or Financial Services.
• Proven track record in requirements elicitation, documentation, and analysis.
• Strong knowledge of financial products, processes, and systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in process mapping tools and methodologies.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience working on mortgage-related projects or systems.
• Familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall project delivery methodologies.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements in the financial services sector.
