QA Engineer - West Midlands - £40-£55k

I am working with a growing scale-up based in the West Midlands as they look to expand their QA function. Having grown from strength to strength over the past 6 years, they are now looking to improve their testing capacity by adding two more QA engineers to the team. They are a Tech based platform that has been continually disrupting their sector.

Your role will be to enhance software quality by developing and executing test plans, providing feedback on requirements, and maintaining test suites. You'll be responsible for test automation as well as bug reporting, root cause analysis and mobile testing. All with the aim to reduce defects, improve customer satisfaction, and support related teams.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of TypeScript and Front End test automation frameworks (eg, Playwright, Cypress).
  • Experience with multiple programming languages would be beneficial
  • Ability to use production logging software.
  • Proficiency in Scripting and automation.
  • Attention to detail, analytical thinking, proactivity, collaboration, adaptability, problem-solving, and strong communication skills.

Role Details:

  • Hybrid Model 2 days on site
  • £40-£55k
  • Located in Solihull
  • Ideal start date is ASAP however they will wait for the right candidate.
