We have an exciting opportunity to work with a specialist machinery manufacturer serving FMCG, Chemical, and Energy sectors. The family run business has expanded significantly over the last few years, beating ambitious targets year on year since COVID.
Their recent expansion involved acquiring an adjacent unit to handle their fabrication needs in-house, surpassing yearly targets by 50%. This success has prompted them to onboard additional staff, adapting swiftly to market demands.
They are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join the team, who will be responsible for writing, developing, and testing software for customer projects. The role involves working closely with other engineers, customers, and departments to ensure smooth project execution and effective delivery of software solutions, both on-site and remotely.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and write software solutions for customer projects
Perform testing to ensure software produces accurate results
Install software on-site and ensure no faults cause delays to the project
Attend handover meetings with engineers and clients regarding project progress
Liaise with customers to discuss specifications and provide updates on project status
In return you'll receive a salary up to £55k, 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays (increasing with tenure), and a bonus system, all for just 34 hours a week.
