*SRE Engineer- 6-24 Months Interim Contract- Hybrid*

For our international client based in The Hague (Netherlands), RED is currently looking for an SRE Engineert to start in a new project.

About the role: Main thing: maintain, optimize, automate applications and migrate them from VM to the Kubernetes platform.

Project Details:

• Role: SRE Engineer
• Start: 4 Weeks Notice
• Capacity: Full time/36 hours per week minimum
• Type: 2 days working in The Hague
• Language: Dutch speaking
• Duration: Initially 6-24 Months Interim Contract +possibility of extension
• Skills : Python, Ansible, Linux, Git/GitHub, APIs, PostgreSQL, Kafk

Responsibilties:

. Managing and optimizing applications within a dynamic and versatile environment, using various techniques and applications;
. Performing 24x7 stand-by services;
. Collaborating within (SAFe) scrum teams, consisting of colleagues from the client, the end client, and other organizations, to achieve common goals;
. Implementing and managing Infrastructure as Code (IAC) solutions, automating management processes using APIs and pipelines;
. Migrating VM applications to Kubernetes platforms, including planning, execution, and aftercare;
