We are currently looking on behalf of one of our important clients for a Senior IT Network Engineer. The role is permanent position based in Zurich Canton & comes with good home office allowance.

Your role:

• Hold responsibility for the timely implementation of Network & IT Infrastructure Projects.
• Continuously expand & maintain a global & modern Network Infrastructure.
• Handle complex support requests (3rd level) in the area of Network, Security & IT Infrastructure.
• Define the global Network, Wi-FI, Firewall & SD-WAN Infrastructure.
• Closely cooperate with globally distributed IT teams.
• Ensuring 24/7 operation of a Global Datacentre Infrastructure.

Your Skills & Experience:

• At least 8 years of relevant professional experience in IT Network Engineering.
• An in-depth knowledge in the Operation of Distributed & Global On-prem & Cloud IT Infrastructures.
• Skilled & experienced in the areas of Wi-FI, Security, Firewall & SD-WAN.
• Ideally experienced in Managing Projects.

Your Profile:

• Completed University Degree in the area Computer Science or Similar.
• Self-motivated, quality-oriented & a team-player with very good communication skills.
• Willing to occasionally participate in on-call service when necessary.
• Fluent in English (spoken & written). Any German language skills are considered very advantageous.
