Evolve ERP are working with one of our key clients within the IT Services space who are looking to bring in an experienced Senior SQL DBA to join the team on a permanent basis.
I am keen to speak with individuals with strong SQL Server experience as a DBA and also candidates who have shown experience with managing and leading teams, as one of the key duties of the role is to help with training and managing a number of junior DBAs within the team. The ideal candidate for the role will also need to have strong stakeholder management skills and be comfortable with talking to customers and clients as this is a customer facing role.
Some key responsibilities consist of the following:
- Day-to-day support, troubleshooting and administration of client Microsoft SQL Server databases and IT infrastructure as part of a first- and second-line support structure
- Liaising with clients to assist in problem resolution
- Client engagement with Technical sales and prospective clients as a Pre-Sales engagement.
- Using the clients call handling system to receive, investigate and document the resolution of support issues generated by clients and the Clients monitoring system.
