CyberArk Solution Architect
One of our clients is seeking an experienced CyberArk Solution Architect to join a very exciting retail project. From a project perspective, the customer wants to go for PAM implementation, therefore it is essential you have this experience. The initial contract will be between 3-6 months with an extension, depending on performance.
1. Solution Design and Architecture:
- Develop end-to-end architectures for CyberArk Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions to meet business and security requirements.
- Design scalable and secure CyberArk integrations with systems such as Active Directory, LDAP, enterprise applications, and cloud platforms.
- Define technical roadmaps and implementation strategies for deploying CyberArk solutions across hybrid environments.
2. Implementation and Deployment:
- Lead the deployment of CyberArk components, including the Vault, Central Policy Manager (CPM), Privileged Session Manager (PSM), Application Identity Manager (AIM), and Privileged Threat Analytics (PTA).
- Establish policies, workflows, and configurations to enforce privileged account security.
- Create custom connectors and scripts to extend CyberArk functionalities.
3. Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and security teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Provide thought leadership and strategic guidance on PAM best practices and CyberArk utilization.
- Be part of the core technical advisor team for CyberArk-related initiatives.
4. Governance and Compliance:
- Ensure PAM solutions align with industry standards, such as ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS, and GDPR.
- Collaborate with audit and compliance teams to provide evidence for privileged access controls.
- Establish monitoring and reporting mechanisms to support continuous compliance.
5. Troubleshooting and Optimization:
- Analyze and resolve complex issues related to CyberArk configurations and integrations.
- Continuously optimize the CyberArk environment for performance, scalability, and usability
6. Training and Mentoring:
- Provide technical training and mentoring to internal teams on CyberArk tools and best practices.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs, implementation guides, and operational runbooks.
Key Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 10+ years of overall industry experience with minimum 8 years of experience in designing PAM solutions using CyberArk.
- Proven experience with Privileged Access Management (PAM) tools and concepts.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of CyberArk architecture and components.
- Experience with PowerShell, Python, or other Scripting languages.
- Knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP, and enterprise IT infrastructure.
- Familiarity with IT security standards (eg, ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS)
- Should be able to work on technical documentation, HLD and LLD
- Soft Skills:
- The candidate should be adaptable and capable of effectively responding to changes in projects and technologies
- Out of the box thinking and approach to problems as and when required
- Candidate should be very hands-on and must technically guide and mentor the team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent English communication and interpersonal abilities.
Preferred Certifications:
- CyberArk Defender or CyberArk Sentry Certification.
- Other relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH.
Work Environment:
- EU time zone support is required during weekdays and must work remotely.
- Must be based in the EU.
