Logistics Data Analyst - Contract - Salmesbury

About Your Role:
We are looking for a Logistics Optimisation Data Operative to join the Supply Chain Optimisation Team. You will use Tableau to transform raw data into useful data For example, create Dashboards by using established data sources. From this you will create reports, conduct statistical analysis and trends, construct datasets that are easy to analyse, attending Skype meetings, take, share and follow up actions to completion.
To succeed in this Logistics Optimisation Data Operative position, you should have strong analytical skills and the ability to combine data from different sources. Logistics Optimisation Data Operative skills also include familiarity with Tableau and knowledge of IT Systems, good organisational skills, time management and communication skills at different levels.

You will:
Create and maintain Tableau Dashboards
Analyse and organize raw data Interpret trends and patterns in the supply chain
Combine raw information from different sources
Explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability for the Logistic Functions
Identify opportunities to improve process and performance

About You:
Experienced in Tableau, creating dashboards from data sources
Microsoft Office specifically Excel at intermediate level, with an ability to progress to advanced
An understanding of IT systems and the principles and approaches
You will be customer focussed, have a 'can do' attitude and be able to provide solutions
Good analytical skills with the ability to resolve issues that do not have routine solutions
Ability to interact, challenge and influence stakeholders at various levels of the organisation
Good communication skills in order to articulate and deliver key messages
Experience within a Supply Chain/Logistics or Manufacturing Environment
