An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Group Financial Reporting Manager to join a large, listed business. This role offers outstanding career development prospects and the flexibility of hybrid working. Based at their modern head office in London, this is an excellent chance to gain exposure to senior stakeholders within the Group Division.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the Group Audit process, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
Oversee the group consolidation process and produce consolidated financial statements at year-end.
Prepare subsidiary financial statements, ensuring alignment with relevant accounting standards.
Manage external auditors, ensuring a seamless year-end audit process.
Prepare technical accounting papers to address complex queries, including management papers for the year-end audit.
Maintain and update the Group Accounting Manual, ensuring accounting policies are reflected in group reporting and adapt to new accounting developments.
Support the implementation of the new financial reporting system.
Provide ad-hoc support to the Group Finance Director as needed.Key Requirements:
Recognised accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
Extensive experience in preparing statutory accounts within a Group function.
