IT Support Engineer
Location: On-Site
Reports to: IT Support Manager

About the Role
Our client is seeking an IT Support Engineer to provide essential technical support and maintain ICT systems in an internal support environment. Your role will ensure that IT hardware, software, and networks operate seamlessly to support both administrative tasks and learning activities. Additionally, you will play an important part in interval IT Projects and maintaining data protection regulations

Main Duties
* Install, maintain, and troubleshoot IT hardware, software, and networks.
* Resolve technical issues and escalate complex problems to appropriate specialists.
* Ensure ICT areas are prepared for daily use and well-maintained.
* Provide technical support to users ensuring they can maximise ICT resources.
* Manage software licensing and maintain accurate records of IT hardware.
* Configure and support systems such as Office 365, CCTV, and access control.
* Assist with maintaining systems security, including safeguarding and GDPR compliance.
* Offer IT support during events, inset days, and occasionally outside standard hours.

What Are We Looking For?
The ideal candidate will be proactive, organised, and passionate about IT support. Key qualities include:
* Hands-on experience with ICT hardware, software, and network maintenance.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve technical issues effectively.
* Familiarity with software management, including Office 365 and databases.
* Knowledge of safeguarding and data protection regulations in an educational setting.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to provide guidance to non-technical users.
* Flexibility to adapt to occasional out-of-hours work when required.
