Our Blue Chip Financial Services client is looking for an experienced Commercial Manager, ideally with strong experience in the Insurance sector and ideally previous experience of working with the 3rd Party, FNZ. The role will be via an Umbrella and predominately remote based.

Role

The purpose of the role is to manage contracts in line with the best practise and in accordance with defined policy and standards as well as supporting colleagues in IT and with the 3rd party performance management.

You'll apply appropriate contractual and commercial management skills, tools and techniques in order to ensure the effectiveness of supplier relationships to meet and exceed contractual obligations, to manage value and to minimise risk.

The candidate will manage contract and commercial risk across the supply landscape, ensuring both internal and supplier adherence to contractual obligations and drive additional opportunities where identified, combining market intelligence with a deep understanding of existing supplier arrangements and business requirements to improve value, both supporting and leading commercial negotiations including work order and contract variation approvals.

Skills

  • In-life contract and commercial management for large scale medium and long term contracts in a regulated environment, within Financial Services.
  • Commercial and stakeholder management skills, and a consistent track record of building strong internal business and supplier relationships at every level
  • Developing and managing multiple IT contracts in a regulatory environment
  • Experience of working/managing a 3rd Party Supplier - FNZ ideally
  • Strong negotiation skills, being able to demonstrate experience of supporting, leading and managing negotiations for complex IT agreements, including dispute management
  • Degree level or equivalent qualification/CIPS qualification preferable
