Mechanical Design Engineer -Product Dev/Plastics/MedTech Regulation/CAD PTC Creo

Role:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our clients multidisciplinary team of mechanical-, electronics- and acoustics engineers. The mechanical designer contributes to the continuous development and improvement of our clients instruments and accessories. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the mechanical product design from concept until approval but also including assessments of new technologies on the way. An important part of this role also includes contribution to Post Launch Engineering.

Main assignments:

• Lead the mechanical design process for new product development, with an emphasis on plastic and electromechanical components.
• Utilize advanced 3D-CAD software, particularly CAD PTC Creo/Windchill, to create detailed design models.
• Collaborate with the R&D team to innovate and optimize design solutions.

Requirements:

• Foundational experience in mechanical engineering, focusing on electromechanical design.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and 3D-CAD proficiency.
• Basic understanding of medical device regulations.
• Experience in micro mechanics involving plastics, rubber, and metal.
• Familiarity with simulation tools such as FEM and Moldflow is advantageous.

Language:

• English fluency (C1/C2 Level)
• German intermediary (B2/C1 Level)
