We are currently looking on behalf of one of our important clients for a Windows Systems Specialist (German Speaking). The role is a permanent position based Basel with one day per week home office.

Your Role:

• Look after a Datacenter & hold joint responsibility for secure VM & storage operations.
• Hold responsibility for the operation & troubling of storage & backup systems.
• Participate in tasks associated with cloud computing.
• Operate & optimize a virtualized client & server infrastructure.
• Provide technical support relating to the implementation of IT systems & specialist applications in IT projects.
• Supervise, configure & maintain our numerous applications (Application Management) as well as their complex interfaces.
• Support the planning & implementation of scalable cloud services with Microsoft Azure (Entra) & Microsoft Office 365.
• Partake in on-call duty when necessary.

Your Skills:

• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in Windows Client & Server Systems.
• Skilled & experienced in System Administration
• A very good knowledge of Microsoft products (Windows 11, Microsoft 365, Cloud applications & Entra).
• Sound expertise in VMware Server.

Your Profile:

• Further Educated in the field of Computer Science (or similar).
• Structured, responsible, reliable, communicative & quality-oriented.
• In possession of a Cat. B driving license.
• Fluent English & business proficient German (to at least B2 level) language skills are mandatory requirements.
