SC CLEARED Content Designer - London (Hybrid) - £400 a day (Inside IR£5)

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and SC Cleared Content Designer for a contract position based in London. The successful candidate will play a critical role in creating and improving user-centered content for key projects within a government or secure environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, create, and manage content across multiple platforms, ensuring clarity, simplicity, and user engagement.

• Collaborate closely with UX designers, developers, and product teams to deliver content aligned with user needs.

• Conduct user research and content testing to inform content strategy and improvements.

• Ensure all content complies with government digital service (GDS) standards and accessibility guidelines.

• Manage content life cycle, including updates, audits, and archiving.

• Translate complex information into easy-to-understand content for diverse audiences.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Active SC Clearance (Mandatory).

• Proven experience as a Content Designer in a government or secure environment.

• Strong understanding of GDS content design principles.

• Experience with user-centered design processes, including user research and testing.

• Excellent writing and editing skills with attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Familiarity with content management systems and digital tools.

Desirable Skills:

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies.

• Experience in content strategy development.

• Familiarity with data-driven content performance analysis.
