SAP Center of Excellence (CoE) Lead - European Consumer Goods Company

A leading multinational company in the beverage and consumer goods industry seeks a seasoned SAP Center of Excellence (CoE) Lead to oversee the implementation, optimization, and strategic alignment of SAP solutions across its European operations. With a robust portfolio of well-recognized brands and a presence across multiple production facilities, this organization is at the forefront of delivering quality products worldwide.

The SAP CoE Lead will manage the SAP ecosystem, ensure alignment with business goals, and contribute to an ongoing S4HANA implementation project. Reporting to the Regional Applications Lead, the role combines strategic vision with hands-on leadership in driving innovation and efficiency.

Leadership & Strategy

• Lead the SAP CoE team, fostering innovation and collaboration.
• Develop and implement the SAP strategy to support business objectives and continuous improvement.

SAP Solution Oversight

• Ensure efficient deployment and integration of SAP systems.
• Monitor system performance, ensure reliability, and maintain SAP license compliance.
• Stay informed of emerging SAP technologies and trends.

Stakeholder Management

• Act as a key liaison between IT and business units for SAP-related initiatives.
• Communicate progress, challenges, and milestones to senior leadership.

Team Development

• Build and manage a high-performing SAP CoE team of five members.
• Mentor, train, and conduct regular performance evaluations to drive team growth.

• Advanced degree in IT, Computer Science, or related fields.
• Extensive SAP implementation experience, particularly in Logistics, Manufacturing, or Distribution modules.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive innovation in SAP landscapes.
• Hands-on experience with at least one SAP module, with a focus on operational efficiency in supply chain processes.

Additional Preferences:

• SAP certifications, especially in modules related to supply chain and manufacturing.
• Track record of success in large enterprise environments with complex SAP ecosystems.
